DRIVER

Shift:                  Coverage of shifts as needed Mon – Fri 8 am to 430 pm

Status:               PRN

Location:           Coatesville, PA

             

Position Purpose:

The Transportation Driver is essential in providing safe, timely transportation for PACE participants, including meals, medical equipment, and pharmacy items. This role ensures the overall cleanliness and safety of the assigned vehicle while effectively communicating any safety concerns.

Position Details:

This PRN position will cover shifts as needed. Shifts are Mon – Fri 8 am to 430 pm.

What you will do:

Transport participants to medical appointments and activities.

Maintain vehicle cleanliness and compliance with safety regulations.

Aid participants during boarding and disembarking.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to adapt to schedule changes.

Promote a welcoming and supportive environment for all participants.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred.

Valid driver's license in good standing required.

One (1) year of documented experience working with a frail or elderly population or must receive appropriate training from upon hiring.

One year of professional work-related driving experience preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent conflict management, customer service, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to change and be flexible with work priorities.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic email/calendar systems.
