Join us and build _your_ ambition. **About The Role** Full-time, seasonal **Responsibilities** + Delivering concrete to customers in a safe and timely manner. + Work safely and have a safety mindset. + Up keep of truck appearance. + Assist with light maintenance around the plants. + Follows and ensures full compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures. + Completing pre-trip inspections and other required paperwork or electronic checkpoints as instructed. + Communicate positively and problem-solve with your plant team. + Assist other local Ready Mix operations from time to time + Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. + Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Qualifications + Educational Background : Grade 12 diploma or equivalent + Skills & Experience: + Valid Class DZ driver’s license or equivalent. + A clean driving record. + Manual Transmission experience an asset + 3 - 5 years of experience in the trucking industry preferred + Physical Attributes: + Must be able to work in outdoor and indoor work environments in all weather. + Availability for shift work is required. Flexible hours may be required on occasion to meet the demands of our customers which will include overtime and weekend work. + Able to perform a variety of physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 lbs, stepping up, carrying, climbing, bending, reaching, push/pull, gripping, squatting, climbing ladders, etc. + Experience in ReadyMix not required if the candidate has a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
