What you'll do: Gathering and forwarding to the estimating team all data (plans, specs, dimensions) relevant to tapered project estimation (on site, at clients’ office, on the Construction Association’s virtual drawings room or through appropriate contacts) Produce competitive estimates and quotes Work order preparation of shop drawings for production Produce accurate shop drawings for architectural review and manufacturing Occasional site visits and take-offs Handling technical questions and sales coordination with the estimator team, Architects, consultants, customers, contractors and the Beacon Roofing Supply or Posi-Slope Outside Sales team What you'll bring: 1-3 years of experience as an Estimator or Draftsperson Strong communication and customer service skills Strong computer skills with MS Office Strong knowledge of AutoCAD software Completion of an Architectural Technology degree or diploma (or equivalent) The ability to work independently within a strong team The ability to work under pressure and to demonstrate leadership What you'll earn 401(k) with employer match Medical, dental, and vision insurance PTO, company holidays, and parental leave Annual safety shoe allowance Paid training and certifications Legal assistance and identity protection Pet insurance Employee assistance program (EAP) QXO is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
