Our Transport & Infrastructure Cadet Program offers a unique opportunity for first and second-year university students to gain hands-on experience while studying - working on real projects, building networks, and learning from industry experts.

Program Highlights

Over the course of the program (typically three years), you’ll complete structured placements across areas such as:
Onsite contracting projects with delivery crews.Project engineering and management.Contract and commercial management.Asphalt production.Major infrastructure projects (e.g., airports).Laboratory testing and innovation.Finance and business operations.Program Eligibility
You are eligible for the Cadet program if you have working rights in Australia and are enrolled in your first or second year of an undergraduate degree, studying in discipline/s of:
EngineeringFinance (Accounting)CommerceScienceYou must be available on the 27th and 28th November 2025 for Cadet Induction and available for full time work from the induction days through to late February 2026 prior to the recommencement of university semester.
Note: subsequent years of the Cadet Program you will be required to be available for full time work for the same period (i.e late November to late February).
