Job Title: DOT Coordinator

Job Description

The DOT Coordinator is responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating electronic personnel records while ensuring compliance with all federal regulations and company policies. This entry-level position is based in the Shared Services department at the Corporate Home Office and offers full-time employment. Responsibilities

Maintain new and existing DOT Driver Qualification Files accurately and timely.Manage expiring documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations and requirements.Assist in the DOT Drug and Alcohol program in accordance with FMCSA regulations and corporate policies.Communicate and collaborate with team members to achieve department goals and provide outstanding support.Provide the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers.Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Essential Skills

Excellent organizational and analytical skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Superior attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.Ability to understand and follow processes and controls.Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy with minimal supervision.Logical reasoning abilities for problem-solving.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to spot and anticipate problems and seek solutions.Experience in DOT, FMCSA regulations preferred.College degree in business or related field preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1+ year of experience in a professional role (banking, HR, accounting, payroll, etc.).Reliable and self-motivated.Experience working in a fast-paced environment.Ability to have tough conversations about compliance.High school diploma required, no degree necessary.DOT experience is nice to have.

Work Environment

The work schedule is an 8-hour shift between 7 am and 6 pm, with most of the team working from 7 am to 3:30 pm. After 90 days, a hybrid schedule is available. The position is open-ended, covering for a maternity leave for at least 3 months.

This is a Contract position based out of La Vista, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
