We’re looking for a Doors Maintenance Technician to join our high performing Doors Team in Newcastle, NSW.

No two days are the same as you manage the equipment and servicing of KONE’s, Automatic Doors, Roller Shutters and Gates across low-rise housing through to the world’s tallest skyscrapers.

What will you be doing?

Attending breakdowns on Automatic Doors, Roller Shutters and GatesInstalling Automatic Door shopfrontsAttending to maintenance activities and repairsCarrying out all activities in accordance with KONE policies and procedures including health, quality and safety standardsWorking to actively maintain customer relationships in the local regionAfter hours callout service

What are we looking for?

Automatic door, roller shutter or gates industry experience preferred but not essentialExposure to breakdowns is highly advantageousElectronic / mechanical mindsetCommitment to working safely with a strong focus on qualityAvailability to work awayA customer service mindsetEWP / Working at heights licence preferred but not essentialExcellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a teamA Full Drivers LicenceFlexibility in participation in a rotational on call roster
