Job DescriptionAnantara The Marker Dublin Hotel is a Leading Hotel of the World and it is imperative that the candidate must have the ability to deliver a high level of service in a confident and professional manner. A full valid driving licence is required for this role.
General responsibilities:
To ensure the hotel achieves the Leading Hotels of the World Quality Assurance targets and that the highest standards of luxury and quality are delivered consistently to our guests.To have an understanding of the Hotel’s Vision & Mission statement as communicated to the teamGreet arriving and departing guests at the doorOffer a warm, professional first impression.Provide basic information or onward directions.Assist guests enter/exit vehicles and offer assistance to those with mobility needs.Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage, and coordinate with bell staff for transporting bags inside. Call taxis, rideshares, or private cars as requested.Provide updates to guests on transportation wait times.Assist in managing vehicle flow at the entrance.Keep the hotel’s front entrance clean, safe, and organised.Manage traffic and ensure the driveway remains clear.Observe activity around the entrance to help maintain security.Report suspicious behaviour to hotel security.Monitor who enters the building.Answer basic questions about hotel services.Provide directions to nearby attractions, restaurants, or transport links.Offer support with valet parking cars when needed.To ensure that areas of responsibility are clean and well maintained and cleaning checklists are adhered to.To report defective materials and equipment to the appropriate departments.To ensure that the ambience in departments (lights, music and temperature) are controlled.To be vigilant throughout the Hotel to promote securityTo have strong product knowledge of all areas of the hotel.To accept a flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to Hotel guests and to maintain flexibility within teams.To provide support where necessary in other areas of the Hotel.To comply with the hotels cash handling procedure.
Must currently have the right to work in EU / Ireland full time Must have Valid clean Driving License.Knowledge of Thai culture will be valued.
