Kforce's client, a global and well-established, very successful financial services firm in Boston, MA known for a great culture and quality of life, is looking to hire a Domestic Tax Manager to join their office. The client offers excellent benefits and growth potential. This position is scheduled as hybrid, 3 days a week onsite with flexibility. Duties: * Work with a great team in support of Tax Reporting and even support M&A transactions, provide high-quality tax advice, and satisfy tax accounting, reporting, and compliance requirements * Prepare and review required Federal tax forms for various financial services subsidiaries within the Insurance industry * Develop tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations * Prepare and review income tax provisions in accordance with GAAP and statutory accounting rules (ASC 740 and SSAP 101) * Stay update on tax laws, regulations and rulings impacting investment entities; provide insights to management * Prepare detailed tax documentation, including work papers, reports and correspondence with tax authorities * Work closely with investment professional, accounting teams and external advisors to address tax issues
