Housekeeping, Maintenance, guardian couple role supporting a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children) in their luxury 5-bedroom property across 3 levels in Virginia Water, Surrey.

 

Duties:

General & Landscape Maintenance 

Identifying and undertaking basic household maintenance tasks In the event an issue requires specialist contractors, assist with access, supervise and support minor maintenance jobs Car valeting including inside cleaning Looking after 2 dogs and 1 cat by taking them out for regular walks and responsible for giving food/water Responsible for the day-to-day security of the property in the family’s absence Ad hoc driving if required for making purchases related to property Support the external gardening contractors if any. General maintenance and upkeep of the landscape including lawn mowing and trimming of hedges Cleaning and maintaining water fountains, external kitchen equipment and furniture

 

Housekeeping

Day to day cleaning of the property including Bedrooms and Reception rooms, Toilets & Lounges Making beds Regular dusting, mopping, hovering of carpets and upholstery Deep cleaning as and when required Laundry – Washing of bed linen, towels, client’s clothes as desired by the client Ironing Grocery shopping

 

General

Maintain stock of all required cleaning material and equipment Maintain a record of all expenses/purchases for client approval with invoices and quotes Ensure the daily use equipment is in working order and is serviced regularly Employee will be provided with access fobs and keys for various sections of the household which must be kept safe and returned at the end of employment

 

Candidate requirements

To be eligible for this role, you will be able to demonstrate proven experience working together within private households undertaking similar duties. One candidate (preferably both) will be a confident driver Strong communication skills are essential Animal (dog) friendly

 

Accommodation

The couple will have their own fully furnished accommodation attached to the main house (separate entrance) Large bedroom with attached toilet & shower Use of the prep kitchen for cooking their own meals before / after work hours. Staples provided however staff are welcome to get their own ingredients depending on their palate Parking available if they have their own They are unable to accommodate those with pets or dependants unfortunately
