**Minimum qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 7 years of experience in compliance, risk management, investigation, auditing, legal or consulting.
+ Experience with Stakeholder Management, Program Management and Process Improvement.
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ Experience with privacy and security compliance, audit, risk, legal and assurance or testing.
+ Experience with supporting organizations under regulatory settlements or consent order (e.g., Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)).
+ Experience with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPS, CCPA, AI Act, LGPD, ePrivacy, AADC, HIPAA or, J.D., CIPP/US), or other privacy or compliance certification.
+ Experience in conducting control audits, process assessments, or technical risk reviews with technical systems (e.g., Application Programming Interface (APIs), databases, cloud environments).
+ Excellent project management, technical collaboration and communication skills.
In this role, you will ensure that the company maintains privacy oversight, governance, and meets all its legal and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Regulatory Affairs, Internal Audit, Legal, Privacy, Safety and Security (PSS), and other Product Areas. You will lead and manage cross-functional privacy assurance and compliance programs related to in-scope binding legal commitments. You will be monitoring controls, engaging with internal and external auditors, preparing and overseeing assessments, and managing program remediations. You will manage interactions with internal and external auditors and prepare for assessments related to applicable privacy binding legal commitments. You will conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments to identify material privacy risks, report findings to privacy leadership and executives, identify risk mitigation efforts, and influence stakeholder prioritization of efforts. You will work on document control deficiencies and compliance gaps, provide privacy compliance guidance, manage and monitor remediation progress, and escalate issues to executives.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $131,000-$192,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. **Responsibilities:**
+ Monitor and manage compliance with Google’s Privacy commitments, including internal and external audits, documentation and reporting, and risk mitigation or management activities.
+ Oversee privacy program management, including periodic risk assessments, program evaluations, and the documentation and testing of privacy controls, training, and governance protocols with Google's commitments.
+ Collaborate with PSS and cross-functional teams to ensure that new product launches and updates privacy reviews and documentation.
+ Partner with internal and external auditors to support privacy program assessments and provide privacy compliance guidance to address control deficiencies.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for ensuring privacy program assessment requirements align with Google’s privacy commitments.
