**Become a Documents Control Specialist**
**Location: (Onsite) Lexington, KY**
**Employment Type** : Full-time employment, benefits and team atmosphere
**Work Schedule** :
**Pay** : **$15.50 (during Training | (8weeks): Then will move to Piece Rate in Production)**
**Position Summary:**
The Documents Support Specialist is responsible for providing flexible and consistent support across various departments to ensure the efficient handling, processing, and distribution of both physical and digital documents. This role functions in a rotational capacity, stepping in where support is needed most, including document control, scanning, filing, mail distribution, and general administrative assistance. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
**Key Responsibilities** :
• Rotate through various functional areas within the mailroom and document services
• Incoming and outgoing mail handling
• Document scanning and digital filing
• Internal document routing and delivery
• Archiving and records management
• Package receipt and dispatch
• Support accurate document control by ensuring consistent labeling, tracking, and organization
• Assist with preparing and distributing business correspondence and materials
• Maintain compliance with internal protocols for document confidentiality and security
• Operate equipment such as scanners, copiers, postage meters, and tracking systems
• Maintain document logs and support audit readiness
• Communicate effectively with internal departments to coordinate timely and secure document flow
• Provide administrative support and perform other duties as assigned
**Qualifications:**
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in document services, mailroom operations, or office support
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work on rotation and shift between tasks and workstations with ease
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment (copiers, scanners, etc.)
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and walk or stand for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
**Preferred Skills:**
• Experience in a mailroom, facilities, or document control environment
• Knowledge of document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, DocuWare)
• Familiarity with compliance-driven document handling processes
**Working Conditions:**
• On-site role with daily movement between different mailroom and office service stations
• Some physical work, including lifting, walking, and standing as needed
• May involve occasional interaction with external vendors or couriers

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $26,200-33,250.
