Job Title: Tariff Recovery Project Administrator (Document Support Specialist)

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic individual to lead our Tariff Recovery Initiative. This role involves reviewing and analyzing government documentation tied to tariffs and cross-referencing existing orders. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Customs Compliance, to ensure accurate classification, documentation, and recovery of eligible underpayments from materials delivered to customers.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end execution of the Tariff Recovery Initiative, including planning, analysis, and implementation.Analyze import/export data to identify tariff payments and recovery opportunities.Coordinate with customs brokers, trade consultants, and internal stakeholders to validate claims.Prepare and submit documentation for duty drawbacks, reclassification, or refund claims.Track project milestones and financial impact, ensuring compliance with trade regulations.Present findings and recovery progress to senior management.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.2+ years of experience in data analysis, data entry, or reporting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred.High school diploma required.

This is a Contract position based out of Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
