Leidos is looking for a Document Management Technician/Data Intake Specialist to work on-sight in support of the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice.
The Antitrust Division maintains an Electronic Processing Center (EPC) and this job is serving the Leidos team which is part of the EPC Support Team which processes and loads data for the Antitrust case managers. The DMT will serve as a Data Intake Specialist which intakes and stages the data to the network to be processed by a Data Specialist. Work is on-site at 450 5th St. NW, D.C. Please note this is not a remote position. The selected individual must be able to work onsite at least 3 day a week in Washington, DC.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Filing, retrieving, and copying case file materials
Creating witness binders
Preparing deposition and trial exhibits
Entering data on-line to case files and other databases
Proofreading, editing, correcting OCR'd text files
Retrieving and blowing back documents and digital image media
Tabbing, numbering, labeling, assembling documents
Filling out log sheets and reporting on task progress
Performing quality control on the work of peers in all of these areas
Prepare documents for image scanning
Perform other document collection related activities, including document screening, and labeling of files to be scanned
Perform simple database searches
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to perform detailed work consistently, accurately, and under pressure extremely important.
Must be able to read and follow instructions.
Must be able to understand task, task objectives, and the context of the task in the litigation support effort as a whole.
Must take the initiative to ask questions when necessary to complete task correctly (e.g. where instructions are not explicit or appear to be contrary to the task objective).
Must have typing/keyboarding skills and good communication skills.
Must be knowledgeable user of the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, database, spreadsheet, imaging, and telecommunications systems.
Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a Public Trust.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with electronic data is preferred.
Undergraduate degree preferred.
Litigation support experience valued.
This position is covered under the Service Contract Act and is subject to minimum requirements. Leidos ensures that all provisions are satisfied. The pay for this position will be $20.12/hr.
