Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Document Controller (Saudi National) to join our team!

The Document Controller is responsible for managing, tracking, and maintaining all project and organizational documentation in an accurate, timely, and secure manner. This role ensures that documents are properly created, reviewed, approved, distributed, stored, and archived in line with company procedures, contractual requirements, and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

Establish, implement, and maintain document control procedures in accordance with company policies and project requirements.

Create and manage document registers, logs, and filing systems (electronic and/or hard copy).

Receive, check, and process incoming and outgoing documents (drawings, specifications, contracts, reports, correspondence, etc.).

Ensure documents are correctly coded, titled, numbered, and version-controlled in accordance with project or company naming conventions.

Distribute documents to internal teams, clients, consultants, and contractors as per approved distribution matrices.

Monitor document review and approval workflows, follow up on outstanding actions, and ensure deadlines are met.

Maintain up-to-date records of all documents and ensure easy retrieval and traceability.

Control the issuance, revision, and supersession of documents, ensuring that only current versions are in circulation.

Support audits by providing documentation and evidence as required for quality, compliance, or client reviews.

Archive and close out project documentation at project completion in accordance with company and client requirements.

Train and support staff in document control procedures and use of document management systems (DMS/EDMS).

Protect confidentiality and integrity of sensitive or proprietary information.

Generate regular reports on document status, overdue reviews, and compliance to procedures.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

8 years of related work experience

Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Good written and verbal communication skills.
