Position Overview:We are currently looking for a PMIS Manager responsible for establishing and managing all project documentation and information systems throughout construction project lifecycle, ensuring accurate document control, PMIS administration, and data integrity to support efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:Document Management & Control
Establish and maintain document control procedures aligned with project requirements and industry standardsManage distribution, tracking, and archiving of drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and contractsImplement version control protocols and maintain document registers with complete audit trailsCoordinate document review and approval workflows across stakeholdersEnsure compliance with contractual retention and retrieval requirementsPMIS Administration
Administer and optimize PMIS platforms (Procore, Aconex, BIM 360, or similar)Configure system modules, manage user access, and provide training to project teamsDevelop standardized templates, forms, and reporting structuresGenerate reports and dashboards tracking project metrics and document statusTroubleshoot system issues and coordinate with IT/software vendorsQuality Assurance & Compliance
Conduct regular audits of document control processesVerify submissions meet project specifications before distributionMaintain compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirementsSupport quality management documentation and closeout packagesCoordination & Reporting
Serve as primary contact for document-related inquiriesTrain team members on document control procedures and PMIS functionalityGenerate status reports on submittals, RFIs, transmittals, and critical documentationSupport project closeout including as-built documentation and O&M manualsRequired QualificationsEducation & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)5-7 years in document control or PMIS management within constructionExperience managing large-scale construction project documentationProven proficiency with major PMIS platformsTechnical Skills
Advanced proficiency in document management systems and construction softwareStrong Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly ExcelFamiliarity with BIM workflows and CAD file formatsExperience with cloud-based collaboration platformsProfessional Competencies
Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detailStrong understanding of construction processes and documentation requirementsKnowledge of construction contracts, specifications, and compliance standardsExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environmentsPreferred QualificationsCertifications: CDC, PMIS platform certificationsISO 9001 quality management system experienceBackground in construction administration or project controlsKnowledge of AIA, CSI standards, or LEED documentation requirementsLocation:
