Job Description:

Parsons is anticipating the need for a Document Controller to join our team and support on a complex infrastructure project on-site in Dublin. In this role, you will support PMO and Assurance teams with all aspects of document storage, sharing, and protocol, acting as a key point of contact for documentation queries.

What You'll Be Doing:

Monitor the creation, tracking, and storage of documents within a centralized repository.

Develop and refine version control protocols to ensure document accuracy.

Track revisions and maintain consistency across all document versions.

Manage the distribution of documents to internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure all documentation complies with organisational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Implement and manage access rights to protect sensitive information.

Support document review and approval workflows.

Maintain detailed records of document history, including revisions and distribution logs.

Prepare reports on document status, activities, and compliance.

Identify opportunities to enhance document management processes and systems.

Provide guidance and support to junior document controllers.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

5–10 years of experience in document control on infrastructure or construction projects.

Knowledge of quality management and process improvement practices.

Strong experience in document control with a focus on compliance and quality assurance.

Experience working with document management systems and databases.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and specialized document control systems.

Understanding of project management principles and practices.

Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.

Minimum Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

PMP and/or Certified Document Controller (CDC) certification.

Note: This position is contingent upon project award and future funding. This exciting new opportunity is planned to commence in Spring 2026.
