Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's documentation systems, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with company standards and local regulations.

Coordinate all activities related to document control procedures, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondenceManage and track Requests for Information (RFIs) from various departments and subcontractorsMaintain accurate and up-to-date document registers and databasesGenerate daily and weekly status reports on document control activitiesEnsure proper filing and storage of documents with clear indexing and summariesDistribute controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings to appropriate staff, subcontractors, and suppliersImplement and maintain a robust system for document traceability and retrievalCollaborate with project teams to ensure timely document reviews and approvalsAssist in the development and improvement of document control processes and proceduresProvide support for document-related queries and requests from internal and external stakeholdersEnsure compliance with local document control regulations in Abu Dhabi and the UAE

QualificationsBachelor's degree in any field; additional qualifications in document management or related fields are a plusProven experience as a Document Controller, preferably in the construction or engineering industryProficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong knowledge of document control procedures, best practices, and local regulations in Abu Dhabi and the UAEExcellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detailAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience in handling technical documents, drawings, and correspondenceFamiliarity with RFI processes and tracking systemsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsStrong data entry and typing skills with high accuracyAnalytical mindset with problem-solving abilitiesAdaptability to changing project requirements and prioritiesKnowledge of construction or engineering industry terminology is advantageous
