Job Description
The Document Control Specialist is responsible for supporting the execution of document control activities in accordance with AS9100 and company quality standards, ensuring the security and accuracy of completed documentation. This role involves reviewing documents and data for completeness and accuracy before uploading them into SAP, managing work order processing for production completion, and completing all archiving activities for finalized documents.
Responsibilities
Support the execution of document control activities according to AS9100 and company quality standards.Secure and accurately complete documentation.Review all documents and data for completeness and accuracy before uploading into SAP.Manage SAP functions in work order processing for production completion.Complete all archiving activities for finalized documents.Assist in writing and reviewing department procedures and SOPs.Work on special projects for Quality as needed.Follow verbal and written instructions effectively.Resolve document ambiguities and reconcile missing information with relevant groups.Work independently with minimal supervision, adhering to due dates.Perform multiple activities for various projects in a fast-paced environment.Essential Skills
Strong personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office.SAP database knowledge.Understanding of master data/configuration controls in a manufacturing environment.Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or similar) for recording and storing information, as well as document storage.Experience with AS9100 quality standards.Proficiency in document control, data entry, data management, and quality control.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with quality standard documentation.Proficiency in data/documentation uploads in SAP.Skill in writing and reviewing department procedures and SOPs.Experience with ERP systems and software.Work Environment
The position is onsite at the Decatur facility. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring the ability to perform multiple activities across various projects.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Trinity, Alabama.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
