Job Description

This role involves offloading inbound trailers, staging freight for body jobs, preloading trailers for city deliveries, assisting customers, conducting dock checks, and more.

Responsibilities

Offload inbound trailers efficiently and safely.Stage freight for body jobs in an organized manner.Preload trailers for city deliveries ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Assist customers with their inquiries and needs.Conduct regular dock checks to ensure smooth operations.

Essential Skills

Minimum 3 years of sit-down forklift experience.3rd Party Forklift Certification.Proficiency in reading and writing.Ability to lift heavy items safely.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Cross Dock Experience.

Work Environment

The position is at a company located in the Great Plains Business Park, accessible by transit. It operates as a warehouse/distribution center handling a variety of merchandise, with a particularly busy period due to seasonal items and a significant volume of tire storage. The team comprises 2-4 people plus office staff, working in a relaxed culture where flexibility with time off is appreciated as long as tasks are completed without damage. The dress code requires steel-toed shoes, and the shift runs from 10:00 to 18:30 Monday through Friday.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
