Summary:
Supervises and coordinates activities of employees engaged in dock activities which include unloading/loading of vessels, barges, and skiffs. Inspects shipments for proper quantity and quality. Coordinates and directs employees in pumping operations of fishing vessels
Note: Dock Foreperson II residing in Trident housing will be subject to a co-pay of fifteen dollars per day for room and board, for each day that at least 8 hours of work is offered.

Operates fish pumps. Manages dock crew. Trains dock staff to ensure safe and efficient operations. Tallies all incoming and outgoing freight and product. Recording weights, box counts, parcels accurately. Coordinates, prioritizes, supervises, and assists with loading/unloading activities. Provides accurate tally sheets, receiving reports, and movement sheets. Ensures dock operations meet environmental and safety regulations and policies. Responsible for overseeing dock maintenance and repair. Responds to change productively and handles other duties as required. Continually follows Company policies and procedures. Assists in scheduling fish deliveries and all related regulatory reporting requirements.Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions. Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.Employees working in Alaska are advised to have medical insurance coverage which is valid in the State of Alaska.
