Job Description:
Manage Nissan AMIEO tax compliance set-up, day-to-day tax compliance matters, and work independently on compliance projects to ensure that the regional tax structure is well set up for continued growth and global expansion.Undertake corporate tax compliance (direct and indirect taxes) across AMIEO jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate tax filings, including the preparation and review of returns for income tax, GST/VAT, and other applicable levies, ensuring compliance with local tax laws.Monitor and implement changes in tax laws, reporting requirements, and regulatory obligations across AMIEO countries.Maintain tax records, statutory filings, and supporting documentation for audits and compliance reviews.Coordinate with external tax consultants, auditors, and advisors to ensure smooth tax compliance processes.Liaise with tax authorities (tax offices, government agencies) for tax filings, disputes, and queries.Develop best in class compliance processes for the AMIEO entities.Assist with the annual and interim tax provisions as it relates to AMIEO entities.Identify tax efficiencies and planning opportunities.Optimize and streamline regional operational tax processes. Automate manual tasks to ensure that the AMIEO tax function (incl. related compliance) is as efficient as possible.Assistance in enhancing SAP systems to meet Tax management requirements.Requirements
Qualified CA with 8+ years’ experience.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals and to execute complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.Ability to collaborate, ensure accountability, and drive results in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment with a high level of integrity.Experience in indirect and direct tax compliance.Hands-on experience of extracting data from SAP ERP.Gurugram Haryana India
