Purpose:
Work with multi communities within a specified geographic region. Responsible for the support of culinary department operations ensuring company policies, procedures, compliance, state and health department regulations, labor and product cost controls are being adhered to. Ensure implementation of the organization’s resources and guidelines are maintained. Culinary department management communication and strategic planning is active within the community management structure. Guide and support appropriate and strategic culinary marketing, training, company updates, adherence to company culinary service standards. Assist in maintaining a positive physical and social environment for the residents and respective communities. 

Essential Job Functions:
Conduct periodic online and/or in person training for Culinary Directors as necessary to maintain proper procedures, company guidelines and health regulations pertaining to culinary department.Support and promotion of company culture, policies, and procedures. Includes support of programs, processes, cost controls, regulatory compliance, monthly regional meetings. Accessible to the assigned region culinary departments.Onboarding, educating, and mentoring community Culinary Directors to support successful facility management and business results. Provides support and guidance toward achieving resident and family satisfaction goals from Culinary provided service established guidelines to support census growth and profitability. Participate in community Culinary Director interviews and provide feedback and recommendations to the Regional Team and/or the Executive Director.Work includes oversight/direction of culinary equipment expenditures, safety requirements and regulatory compliance.Conducts audits, property department reviews, and verification that work is complete and meets quality expectations when required and/or as needed.Responds to emergency situations to provide necessary support and follow-up.Develops, updates, maintains, trains, and audits service programs and Standards.Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding resident’s rights.Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements
High School Diploma/GED; Degreed preferred.Must have former training in food service management or the culinary arts or have equivalent experience in food service management or the culinary arts for a period of four years or more.Must be able to relate positively and appropriately to company and community staff, residents, and families, and to collaborate cooperatively with all employees and vendors.Must be capable of maintaining full time attendance.Must meet all health requirements.Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.Strength in skills such as effective verbal and written communication, conflict management, innovation, process improvement, and prioritization.Operates with integrity, adaptability, and diligence.Understand and communicate financial aspects of budget and cost control.Maintain required food/health regulation certification.
