4 Year Degree Summary: Assist the head coach with all responsibilities inherent in coaching a Division III program. Responsibilities:• Plan and implement the training program for pole vaulters • Travel with the team to away competitions • Assist head coach in recruiting qualified student-athletes • Interact with student-athletes and staff in a positive and appropriate manner. (This expectation includes those at CC, as well as our opponents.) • Abide by all conference, NCAA, and Colorado College rules, regulations and bylaws. o Actively support the college’s commitment to be an antiracist institution by understanding, engaging with, and promoting diversity, inclusion, and equity in the college community. o Promote a culture of safety and environmental protection by working in a safe manner; immediately reporting unsafe situations and accidents; following college procedures and participating in appropriate safety training. o Demonstrate environmental sustainability by using college resources wisely and supporting the college’s sustainability initiatives and innovation. o Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution (or significant documented coaching experience) plus a minimum of 3 years of coaching experience or collegiate playing experience; ability to communicate effectively and develop positive relationships with people from different cultural backgrounds; proficient in computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic knowledge of the internet. Preferred Qualifications:  candidate will have experience in coaching pole vault.
