Division Director, Business Growth and Development

The Division Director, Business Growth and Development will be responsible for partnering with operational and strategic leaders across the Home Health Practice to capitalize on growth opportunities. This position will be responsible for partnering with operational leaders to help strategize and execute on key growth initiatives in new and struggling markets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Exemplifies characteristics of The BAYADA Way: compassion, excellence and reliability.
2. Four (4) year college degree. Master’s degree in business related field preferred.
3. Proven track record of successful business development in new markets.
4. Minimum five (5) years’ experience in healthcare operations.
5. Working knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare regulations.
6. Track record of successfully working as part of a collaborate strategic team.
7. Track record of developing and implementing successful strategic growth plans.
8. Acceptable results on Profile XT.
9. Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Demonstrate and communicate the core values of BAYADA Home Health Care and The BAYADA Way. 2. Partner with operational leaders to provide guidance and support related to strategic growth plans.
2. As part of a multifunctional strategic team, help guide and support the practice in reaching its overall goals.
3. Partner with operational leaders to assist phase 1 offices in getting to phase 2.
4. Become familiar with the divisions including market challenges and opportunities with an emphasis on relationship building at the Regional Director and Division Director level.
5. Help to identify companies for possible acquisition and be the point of contact with the acquiring agency. Maintain positive relationships between BAYADA and the agency being purchased until close of purchasing agreement (or agreed upon date).
6. Along with operators, will develop strategies for new states/territories, including understanding and researching regulations and governance.
7. Will assist operators in completing new office workbooks.
8. Will assist in developing a consistent workflow for growth ventures.
9. Will partner with culture and talent team to provide a positive on-boarding experience for all staff. This includes supporting change management efforts.
10. Will provide assistance and tools to leaders in new markets for Government Affairs Office and lobbying efforts.
11. Will partner with enterprise and practice support to ensure coordination, and synergy. This includes the expectation of a regular cadence of meetings and communication.
12. Assist leaders in diagnosing and analyzing offices that struggle to meet growth goals.
13. Will develop a toolbox for growth strategies related to new ventures and startups. This will include lessons learned.
14. When acquiring cases from an agency, will assist in assimilating the new cases into existing offices. 16. Demonstrate solid performance or exceed performance standards in key job dimensions/attributes as defined on the Performance Appraisal for Office Staff.
15. Perform related duties, or as required or requested by supervisor.

+ Base Salary: $ 175,000 - 250,000 / year depending on qualifications
