We are looking for a dedicated Division AVP Academic Affairs like you to be a part of our team. **Job Summary and Qualifications** Provides divisional nursing leadership strategic support and partnership to promote coordinated efforts around recruitment and retention of nursing staff and strengthening of academic partnerships. Provides support for nursing excellence and evidence-based practices. **Strategy:** ​Design ​and develop a division framework and strategy to prioritize, delegate, and execute initiatives that improve division and facility alignments with local and regional nursing schools​. ​Develop and operationalize a systematic approach to managing critical actions and decisions across various teams to improve nursing school relations, student rotations, and nursing student recruitment and retention. ​Utilize and leverage data systems and tools, in order to examine, validate, and drive performance. ​​Shape corporate strategy by providing data-driven feedback on needed interventions or workshops​. ​​To promote the professional development of nursing staff​. ​​To Enhance Nursing Engagement and Retention​. **Delivery and Operations:** ​Responsible for the implementation and sustainability of nursing excellence initiatives to improve nursing care delivery across the division in alignment with the strategic and operational objectives of the division . ​​Build strategic alliances and partnerships, with a strong focus on continually enhancing stakeholder communication, to collaboratively execute the nursing agenda​. Provide relationship management and support that facilitates stakeholder connections and alignment of intentional nursing student engagement activities that result in exemplary clinical experiences. ​​Actively participates in recruiting events, promotional campaigns, job fairs/conferences and other marketing and media events to promote and attract new graduate nursing staff​. Optimize nursing work environment to enhance StarRN & HCA Residency programs for new graduates to elevate engagement and optimize RN retention. **Performance Accountability:** ​​Effectiveness of student rotations and conversion to hires​. ​​Monitor and evaluate reports consistently, trouble shoot areas of concerns; assist with corrective action as needed​. ​​Track nursing excellence and academic initiatives across key metrics (e.g., efficiency, quality, turnover, engagement, etc.)​ Monitor and Evaluate StaRN & HCA Residency experience, onboarding, and 1st year retention rates. **Provides Support By:** ​​Working collaboratively with facility, division and corporate leadership to identify opportunities to optimize various processes utilized by the key stakeholder teams that result in positive outcomes . **Education & Experience:** Bachelor’s Degree – Required Master’s Degree – Required 5+ years of experience in Healthcare/Management – Required 3+ years experience in relevant program management and project management experience focused on clinical operations and/or education – Preferred Registered Nurse – Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation – Preferred Experience with new graduate nursing residency programs and/or nursing school faculty - Preferred Capital Division (https://hcacapitaldivision.com/) which encompasses 19 hospitals overall.
