Amergis is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) to provide coverage for a charter program serving ESN (Extensive Support Needs) students, Preschool through Age 22. The nurse will support approximately 16–18 classrooms in the Dos Palos/Los Banos area. This role is essential in ensuring the health and safety of students while collaborating with families, staff, and medical providers. Responsibilities + Be available on call to respond when students are sick. + Communicate with parents regarding student health concerns. + Attend IEP meetings to provide medical input and support. + Coordinate with doctors and healthcare providers as needed. + Collaborate with the current nurse, who will handle IEP documentation. + Maintain professional communication with school staff and administrators. Qualifications + Required: Active RN license in California. + Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). + Must hold or be open to obtaining a California Teaching Credential (CTC). + Experience working with students in special education settings preferred. + Strong communication and organizational skills. + Ability to work collaboratively with families, staff, and medical professionals. + Reliable, flexible, and committed to student well-being.
