District Representative

In this position, you will manage and develop long-standing client relationships, with an intense focus on exceeding client expectations and driving service delivery. You will have a hands-on approach to service and deliver value through developing and managing technical projects to solve customer problems.

What You Will Do:

Grow sales within an existing territory of hospitality accountsCold-call and prospect to secure new accounts, as you build Ecolab’s brand in your marketDevelop business in the assigned area with new technology and applications that develop by Ecolab.Manage strategic district accounts to execute agreed-upon customer system assurance and continuous improvement plansPlant surveys of prospective customersStart-ups of new applications in both existing customers and in new accountsDevelop strong relationships with the key stakeholders in the strategic district accountsProvided technical support to customers; identifying customer needs and resolving customer problems that related to water treatment, escalating as requiredEngage in problem-solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels;Routine services include: Sample testing, light maintenance, customer service, service report generation, chemical ordering, chemical inventory management, general labor activitiesFollow Ecolab safety guidelines and incident reporting requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in engineering preferred in chemicalSales background minimum 1-2 years with Hospitality Background preferred or having networking in the Hotels, Resorts, and Facilities.Having experience in Water treatment or the specialty chemical industryExperience and networking in the Hotels, Resorts, and Facilities will be prioritized.Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, chillers, water safety, and wastewater treatment systemsYou have the ability to interact effectively with others, including senior-level customers, including the ability to teach, coach and provide guidance and constructive feedback with tact and diplomacyKnowledge of English is importantYou have strong relationship skills
