**Job Summary**
The District Manager is responsible for overseeing district and unit operations to ensure alignment with Epicurean budgets, operational standards, safety protocols, and company procedures. This role provides leadership across multiple locations, supports new and existing business, and builds strong client relationships, often managing multiple stakeholders per account.
The District Manager ensures efficient financial performance, supports menu and program development, oversees marketing and promotional initiatives, and establishes consistent customer service and merchandising standards. This role directs the hiring, training, development, motivation, and performance management of supervisory and support staff.

Strong client satisfaction and long-term relationship growth through innovative programs
Sales growth within existing units and successful support of new openings
Consistent execution of café and kitchen operational standards
Financial accountability through accurate budgeting, reporting, and cost controls
Development of high-performing teams and succession planning for hourly and salaried staff
Proactive safety leadership with a focus on accident prevention and cost management
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Client, Customer, and Community Relationships
Lead regular District meetings to review financial performance and billing with clients
Maintain effective communication with community support staff, administration, and maintenance teams
Create forums to gather feedback from clients and customers regarding food quality and service
Respond promptly to client and customer communications, including weekends as needed
Provide regular operational updates to senior leadership
Business Growth and New Openings
Investigate new client leads as directed by senior management
Support proposals, transitions, and new openings, including occasional weekend support
Meet with prospective clients as directed
Food Programs and Operations
Implement Epicurean food programs in accordance with company standards and approved proposals
Collaborate with District and Unit leaders to develop seasonal café and catering menus
Develop activity calendars and coordinate marketing materials and program launches
Execute marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction
Financial and Administrative Management
Maintain knowledge of District and Unit capital assets and investments
Monitor accounting and financial controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
Ensure Accounts Receivable remain current
Review inventory systems on a regular basis
Maintain working knowledge of payroll systems, procedures, and deadlines
Monitor pricing structures and analyze variances between budgeted and actual café and catering performance
Qualifications
Experience in multi-unit or district-level operations management
Strong financial and business acumen
Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
Experience leading, developing, and retaining teams
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed
