District Manager, Janitorial Services
**Overview** We are seeking a results-driven **District Manager** to oversee janitorial operations across multiple manufacturing and distribution facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and client satisfaction while leading and developing a team of site managers and frontline staff. **Compensation: UPTO** $80,000.00 annual salary (US Dollars) The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program **401(k)** – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested. **Position Requirements:** + Maintain business in line with branch financial goals by managing job budgets and costs associated to area of direct responsibility. Assumes responsibility for supervisor vacation and holiday replacement coverage. + Must have knowledge of P&L statements + Track record for improve profit margins + Be intimately familiar with the terms of customer contracts. + Maintain appropriate level of expenditures. + Ensure subordinates provide proper supply levels to all accounts within supply expense budget given. No discretionary spending without PRIOR approval of branch management. + Execute Safety programs follow-through by Branch Safety Coordinators to ensure compliance with all safety policies and zero incidents. Ensure that company policy and all safety requirements are administered properly. Ensure both you and your supervisors investigate immediately (24 hours) and thoroughly all work-related accidents. + Responsible for reporting of accidents involving personnel, vehicles, public liability, property damage and fidelity claims. + Review workers compensation claims relevant to area of responsibility to ensure proper handling + Ensure company standards are met in compliance with the operations and servicing contractual obligations to customers within specified budget of labor and expense. + Reviews daily labor for assigned District. Assumes responsibility for properly educating supervisors on payroll procedures. + Responsible for adhering to and enforcing established company policy and making sure assigned subordinates do likewise. + Cultivate relationship with customers to ensure district meets service contract requirements and ensure customer retention. + Must have demonstrated leadership skills to develop employee and supervisory personnel. + Carry out both positive recognition and disciplinary action as needed, and train subordinates as needed. + Reviews daily labor for assigned District. Assumes responsibility for properly educating supervisors on payroll procedures. + Responsible for adhering to and enforcing established company policy and making sure assigned subordinates do likewise. + Execute district sales plan by working closely with leadership and sales teams for achieving targeted current customer growth and new business. + Execute personnel management plan to ensure account coverage when management is on off site due to vacation or absence. + Must know the city, state and federal laws and regulations that affect company business and know what licenses are required to operate the business. + Perform all other duties as assigned or requested. **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:** + Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in facilities management space. + Minimum of 5 years of experience in a service-oriented environment. + Minimum of 3 years of sales-marketing experience. + Must have P&L experience. + Must be able to prepare advanced documents using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. + Bachelor’s degree preferred. + Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. + Must have experience in a customer focused environment. + Proven ability to work with and communicate with front line employees as well as upper-level management team. + Must have business acumen.
