Job Description
The Distributor Partner Manager develops and implements market access strategies and plans to grow market share through distribution. Reporting to the Territory Sales Manager, you will establish relationships with distributors at all levels of their organization to ensure efficient use of resources to grow the business and ensure agreement. You will coach and challenge our distributors to evolve by developing their value-added services business and increasing Annual Recurring Revenue growth at customers.
Your Responsibilities:
Create business strategies to grow overall sales and market share through distributionCoordinate activities and resource use within the sales organizationTake an active role in coaching distributor to evolve their value-added services business and increasing Annual Recurring RevenueImplement and measure all Rockwell Automation market access commercial programsBe the single contact for each assigned distributorManage the development of assigned distributors and their performanceResolve market access issues resulting in conflict (i.e. APR violations, etc.)Measure distributor performance and implements distributor performance improvement programsHelp implement new product launches and promotional programs through the direction of all market access team resources, including the distributor's personnelTake an active role in coaching distributor personnel and evaluating their competency in the support of Rockwell Automation products and servicesAssure a high level of distributor capability to serve all customers in the assigned territoryEnsure familiarity with company procedures. Apply procedures in compliance with government laws. Procedures include: Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & 14000, government regulations (e.g. health, safety, quality and environmental)Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degreeLegal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.Valid driver's license.Ability to travel up to 25% of time.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering Discipline.Typically requires 5+ years' experience in sales, industrial distribution, systems integration or an engineering firmExperience selling services and/or Software (contractual and transactional) to manufacturing companies (headquarter locations and plants)What We Offer:
