The focus of this role is to be the marketing stakeholder for our distribution partners. This role is responsible for managing distributor’s go-to-market (GTM) marketing plans in alignment with overall Fortinet business objectives to optimize channel performance and accelerate growth. This role focuses on executing marketing programs that contribute to increasing pipeline and overall revenue, expanding market share, recruiting new partners, and reactivating dormant partners, as well as cross-sell and upselling expansion sales. This position requires an independent and proactive individual, who works well in a fast-paced environment, has demonstrated experience working against deadlines on multiple projects and dealing with many clients at all levels of management. This person will work diligently with our distribution account team, brand, product and finance teams. This position requires travel – average 20%.
Responsibilities
Develop, execute and maintain distributor’s annual marketing plans that expand market reach and increase growth.Develop high-value marketing programs to partner through distributors to support Fortinet and Distributor growth objectives.Collaborate with Distribution Account Manager, Sales and Product teams to align marketing plans to channel business plans, priorities including incentives campaigns, when applicable. Ensure marketing plans and assets meet brand and investment guidelines.Responsible for all day-to-day tasks within role. Manage multiple marketing budgets including reconciliation. Maintain ROI tracker for assigned distributor’s annual plan.Responsible for execution of quarterly marketing reviews and reporting. Provide data-driven recommendations to improve marketing campaigns to increase pipeline and overall growth.Work closely with product marketing to support distributors GTM including training and thought leadership speakers, as needed. Liaison with finance to manage channel budgets, claims, and reconciliation.Ensure consistent brand representation across distributor campaigns and vendor microsites. Travel and support trade shows, distributor events, and partner marketing initiatives. Gather market intelligence on competitor activity, channel dynamics, and market trends.
Education
College diploma or bachelor’s degree in marketing/business or equivalent experience
Experience
3+ years of marketing and vendor management experience in Distribution.
