Job Description
Join our team as a Distribution Field Technician, where you will collaborate with another field technician to utilize KATAPULT on site. Your main task will be capturing images of poles and forwarding them to the designer, who communicates with the client to ensure the data captured is accurate.
Responsibilities
Capture and send images of utility poles to the designer using KATAPULT.Ensure proper data is captured in communication with the designer.Travel throughout Georgia and surrounding states for fieldwork, requiring overnight stays.Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including high temperatures.Participate in storm work as required.Essential Skills
Proficiency in data collection related to power distribution.Familiarity with electric utility systems.Knowledge of National Electrical Safety Codes (NESC).Additional Skills & Qualifications
General technology proficiency (e.g., Teams, Outlook).Experience with Katapult or IKE technology is a plus.Knowledge of Joint Use and staking related to power poles.Work Environment
The role requires extensive travel, primarily around the GA/Bama border with projects expanding into Alabama, Mississippi, and the Panhandle of Florida. You will travel weekly, staying overnight for 3 to 4 nights at a time, and work a four-day week consisting of 10-hour days. The position offers opportunities for growth within the company, with potential to advance to office roles after one or two years.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
