**Adecco is looking for** **a DC Warehouse Associate** **.** **Position Type:** Onsite **Location:** Roanoke, VA 24012 **Shift:** Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7am – 3:30pm **Assignment Type:** 3 months (a possibility of project extension). **Start Date:** Friday August 15, 2025 The **Distribution Center** Warehouse Associate has overall responsibility for receiving and moving materials within warehouse. An integral part of the team, the Distribution Center Associate verifies the inventory quantity and assists in inventory level maintenance, maintains complete and accurate paperwork, and operates warehouse equipment in a safe manner. **What your day-to-day will look like:** Contractors will be assembling beams, adding grates, and dividers to install racks. Will be using wrench, socket wrench, and other handheld tools for assembly. May use short step ladder, no higher than 8 ft. Will be lifting beams weighing no more than 20 lb. Attendance will be crucial for this role as both contractors will need to work together each day to complete the project. **Qualifications:** • Is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk and hear, • Is frequently required to stop, kneel and crouch or stoop, • Is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. • Bending/Stooping and reaching into stationary totes to retrieve product • Standing/walking for extended periods of time • May be exposed to moving mechanical parts while operating manual pallet jacks or forklift trucks • The noise level in the work environment may be high at timesBeing at least 18 years of age • Having a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)/Home School equivalency **Ready to get started?** Apply now and take the next step in your career with Adecco. **Shift Requirements:** + Candidates must make a commitment to work their full scheduled shift.
