Your Role:

 

The Distribution Associate 2 – 1st Shift role at MilliporeSigma in Milwaukee, WI plays a critical role in the fulfillment of customer orders through the activities of receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of life science materials.

 

Shift Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm

 

Load and unload freightOperate equipment to produce documents for workloadLocate, move, deliver, or return all materials to proper areasPrepare materials for shipmentAccurately document all movement of materialsAudit inventory locations to maintain inventory and location accuracyVerify chemicals, catalog number, lot number, special requests information, unit size and weights against order documentation found in packing instructionsPrint and apply all required labels and markings to box to comply with hazardous materials regulationsCondense, straighten, and maintain warehouse areasWork with team leads and supervisors to troubleshoot system issuesReport unsafe or potentially unsafe hazards to team leads or any member of management

 

Physical Attributes:

May involve standing for long periods of time, operating powered industrial equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted

 

Who You Are:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

High School Diploma or GED

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

1+ years of fulfillment, customer service, or warehousing experienceOral and written communication skills to interact with all levels of staff Experience in a fast-paced environment and adjusting to changing priorities in the environmentProficiency with computers, scanners, printers, and shipping equipmentExperience following good distribution practices (GDP), where applicable
