Job Title: Dispatcher
Job Description

Join a dynamic team in a pivotal role as a Dispatcher, supporting a busy service team of approximately 15 technicians. This fast-paced position serves as the central hub between customers, technicians, and service leadership, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication throughout the day.

ResponsibilitiesDispatch and route service technicians throughout the day, managing point A to point B scheduling.Handle 20–30 daily inbound customer calls, maintaining ongoing communication with technicians in the field.Coordinate job assignments, updates, and next steps as technicians complete their work.Perform administrative tasks, including billing, paperwork, and service documentation.Act as a central point of communication, balancing customer needs and technician schedules.Essential Skills3+ years of dispatching experience specifically within mechanical contracting, such as HVAC and plumbing.Ability to manage a high call volume while staying organized and calm under pressure.Strong communication skills, with the capability to confidently direct conversations.Experience in service environments with multiple technicians in the field.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with dispatching/software tools, currently using BuildOps and transitioning to Spectrum by Trimble.Work Environment

You will report to Service Management in a collaborative and supportive environment, working hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The role involves interaction with both office and field personnel, requiring adaptability and effective communication skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $33.65/hr.
