Dispatcher Transdev in Redwood City is hiring a Dispatcher to play a critical role in keeping our transportation services running safely, smoothly, and on time. As a Dispatcher, you will oversee daily road service through direct communication with Vehicle Operators, coordinate responses to service issues, and provide high-quality customer support to our clients. Transdev is proud to offer:CBA PositionCompetitive compensation:$28.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience)Comprehensive benefits package includes:Vacation: (1) week after one year of completed continuous serviceSick Days: 5 paid daysHolidays: 11 paid holidays (10 standard + 1 floating)Additional benefits:401(k) Retirement PlanMedical, dental, and vision coverageLife insuranceShort-term disabilityVoluntary long-term disability Key Responsibilities:Oversee assigned transit service and operators by monitoring trip performance, on-time departures, service quality, and incident responseServe as a key point of contact for customer inquiries, including no-shows, cancellations, and missed trips, ensuring timely and professional resolutionManage emergency situations involving vehicle operators and act as a liaison between carriers and emergency servicesProactively monitor daily service operations and respond quickly to conditions that impact safety or customer experienceCollaborate with internal teams to maintain service reliability and continuous improvementPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED required1–3 years of dispatching experience preferredStrong verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skillsProven problem-solving and analytical abilitiesAbility to work flexible schedules or shifts as operational needs requireSubject to DOT drug testing and physical (if applicable).
