Job Description An engineering client is seeking a resilient, detail-oriented Dispatcher to support one of our largest and busiest offices. This role is ideal for someone with field experience—such as a Field Technician or CMT—who is ready to transition into a fast-paced administrative and coordination role. You’ll be the central point of contact for contractors and field staff, managing schedules, troubleshooting service requests, and ensuring smooth daily operations. • Answer and manage incoming calls from contractors and clients throughout the day • Troubleshoot service issues once trained; communicate clearly and professionally • Maintain and update spreadsheets and dispatch logs with accurate, actionable notes • Coordinate field technician schedules and assignments • Learn and understand full range of services to support dispatch decisions • Shadow field technicians for approximately one month to gain firsthand operational insight • Adapt to evolving responsibilities as you grow in the role • Work closely with 60+ field techs in a high-volume, high-pressure environment • Stay organized and focused while juggling multiple tasks and systems • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements - Prior experience in a field tech, CMT, or similar role strongly preferred - Strong administrative skills and comfort with spreadsheets and documentation - Ability to absorb and retain large volumes of information - Thick-skinned and resilient under pressure; thrives in fast-paced environments - Experience working in a customer service/client facing role - Prior experience as a field technician or doing CMT work, looking to move into a move office based role
