Ferguson is currently hiring a dedicated Dispatcher to join our distribution team. If you have an interest in purchasing and logistics and a desire to learn new things then this is the position for you! **The pay rate for this role is $22 hourly and the schedule is Monday-Friday 9am-6pm** **Responsibilities:** + Communicates with drivers daily on route progress, changes, and issues + Works along side sales team on issues, late deliveries, amendments to route, local pickups, etc + Communicates with customers on delivery statuses + Maintain truck and route files for DOT compliance, IFTA compliance, company compliance + Supervise and coordinate truck maintenance with local providers + Maintain driver personnel files for compliance + Coordinate last minute additional runs via our truck or courier **Qualifications:** + High school diploma/GED + Customer service experience required + 3+ years prior logistic dispatching experience preferred + Experience in shipping preferred + Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook + DispatchTrack software experience preferred but willing to teach the right candidate + Well organized, strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism + Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices + Out of the box problem solver with a strong sense of urgency At Ferguson, we care for each other.
