Description Robert Half is seeking a Dispatcher on behalf of our client to support their operations by managing schedules, coordinating logistics, and ensuring timely responses to service requests. Key Responsibilities + Coordinate and schedule dispatch operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. + Communicate with drivers, field staff, or technicians to provide instructions, updates, and respond to any issues. + Use dispatch software and systems to track vehicles, deliveries, and service routes. + Manage incoming service calls, prioritize requests, and assign tasks based on urgency and availability. + Maintain detailed records of calls, schedules, and completed tasks, ensuring accuracy for reporting and compliance purposes. + Quickly address and resolve delays, emergencies, or changes in schedules to maintain smooth operations. + Provide excellent customer service by updating clients and stakeholders on the status of their requests. + Monitor equipment or fleet maintenance schedules and coordinate necessary repairs with the appropriate department. Requirements + Prior experience in dispatching, logistics, customer service, or a similar coordination role. + Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor. + Proficiency in dispatch software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). + Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a high-pressure environment. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and handling schedules. + Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges. + High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in logistics or transportation management are a plus.
