TalentWorld has an exciting opportunity for a Dispatcher to join our client’s dynamic and growing transportation team.
If you’re a confident communicator with a knack for logistics, driver coordination, and keeping schedules running like clockwork, this is the role for you.
You’ll play a key role in dispatching freight, managing permits, and ensuring every shipment—no matter the size—arrives on time and by the book.

Dispatcher Responsibilities:

Schedule and dispatch trucks, drivers, and service vehicles for timely pickups and deliveries Track shipments in real-time and provide accurate updates to stakeholders Provide clear routing instructions and manage two-way communications with drivers Address traffic delays, freight discrepancies, and equipment availability with agility Maintain CVOR and HTA compliance including Hours of Service and maintenance records Support operations with data entry, documentation, and internal reporting

Dispatcher Qualifications:

Experience in transportation, shipping/receiving, or freight dispatch Experience with pre-cast  Knowledge of CVOR, Hours of Service, and carrier compliance requirements Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word); customs knowledge is an asset Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities Comfortable in high-call volume, fast-paced environments Familiarity with unionized workplaces is an asset
