The intern will report to the Senior Manager, Communications

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in Orlando, Florida, from January 2026 through June 2026

What You Will Do

As a Communications Intern on the Global Employee and Line of Business Communications Team, you’ll get a chance to turn your classroom skills into real-world experience in a fun and fast-paced environment. This is an opportunity to grow your communications and strategic skills with an innovative team showcasing stories from around the world.

Help amplify communications from partners to DX using Disney Cast Life Web/AppCreate content and write articles for Disney Cast Life Web/App, line of business newsletters, and other channelsSupport global email distributionsHelp design collateral material (i.e., digital slides, presentation, header images, etc.)Support the Technology, Finance, and HR lines of businessAssist with content creation and distribution across a variety of communications vehicles (i.e., newsletters, Viva Engage, CastTVs, etc.)Help with global campaigns such as Global Recognition Week, Administrative Professional Week, and many more

It Would Also Be Great If You Have

Knowledge of Keynote, WordPress, iOS operating system, and SmartsheetPrevious communications experienceAn ability to write for various platforms and a love of storytelling is idealExperience with Adobe Creative Suite and/or CanvaSkill with social tracking and metrics sites such as Sprinklr and Adobe AnalyticsPrevious experience working on social media in an academic or professional setting; posting and writing in the voice/tone of an organizationPrevious Disney experience with knowledge of Walt Disney World property and product

Education

Junior or Senior year preferredPursuing a degree in Public Relations, Public Affairs, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Customer Engagement, Marketing, or other relevant fields

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below

Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney InternshipHave not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College ProgramBe at least 18 years of agePossess unrestricted work authorization

The approximate dates of this internship are January 2026 through June 2026Fully available from Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM Eastern Time Zone for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each weekAble to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, Florida area.Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from workBe aligned with The Disney Look appearance guidelinesWe provide limited housing opportunities for Florida-based Disney Interns through American Campus Communities.
