Geisinger is growing and looking for radiologists who are BE/BC by the ABR and have completed subspecialty training in Nuclear Radiology. Join our nationally recognized team of more than 90 radiologists and take advantage of a unique opportunity to perform advanced nuclear imaging in a collaborative, academic setting. You will help deliver high-quality care to patients throughout northeast and central Pennsylvania.
Job DutiesInterpret a wide range of nuclear imaging studies, including PET/CT (FDG, PSMA, DOTATATE, and amyloid), SPECT/CT, and general nuclear scans.
Participate in radionuclide therapy and theranostic applications.
Enjoy a favorable call schedule: no weekday call and shared weekend general call (with plans to eliminate weekend call in the near future). There is no neuroradiology coverage required when on call.
The position is based at a single primary location, with opportunities to provide remote coverage for our five state-of-the-art Nuclear Radiology sites featuring Siemens Symbia Gamma Cameras and six PET/CT scanners.
Engage in resident education in an academic setting; research is not required but can be pursued if desired.
Collaborate in multidisciplinary conferences and integrated care teams.
