This role will support and coordinate resources, activities, and proposals associated with an AECOM Disaster Resilience Service Line. The Disaster Resilience Specialist will be expected to have a strong understanding of applicable federal disaster policies and requirements, as well as disaster response and recovery experience. The location of this position is flexible, but will be required to deploy for extended periods of time. This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement to include a combination of in-office and remote scheduling and can be based in, but not limited to: Dallas,TX. **Job Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to** : + Support the preparation, deployment, and operations of AECOM rapid response and recovery teams. + Support project efforts, requiring complex coordination across multiple business lines, systems and processes. + Serve in a response role during an emergency activation. + Support project teams with the implementation of projects. + Support project plans to drive project goals, budget, and deliverables. Identify project tasks, workflows, and resource requirements. + Support with capture and proposal development. + Support the development and implementation of a xBL Disaster Resilience Strategy & Growth Plan. + Establish and continue critical internal and external relationships across reaming partners, industry groups and stakeholders within the Disaster Resilience Industry. + Support updates, maintenance, and creation, as required, of standard operating procedures. + Monitor and report on progress of assigned projects and tasks. + Track project deliverables using appropriate tools and provide reporting. + Track Disaster Resilience Service Line metrics globally. + Support and coordinate with project teams on tasks to ensure schedule and budget are maintained. + Support deployment training for rapid response and disaster resilience projects. + Other duties as required **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements** + BA/BS + 6 years of experience in emergency management, disaster resilience or a related field or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. + Must have the ability to deploy to remote locations for short-term project assignments. **Preferred Qualifications** : + Ability to develop Project schedules and budgets and understand and monitor financial health of the Project. + Familiarity with the National Incident Management System (NIMS), Incident Command System (ICS), and Emergency Support Functions (ESFs) frameworks, Protocols and Systems + Familiarity with Project Financials and Controls + A working knowledge of disaster resilience related regulatory and statutory compliance. + 6+ years cumulative activation / deployment experience associated with hazardous event or disaster (federal, state, or local government). + Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders of the organization to share information, make decisions, and/or implement effective solutions to problems or complaints. **Additional Information** + This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization, now or in the future. + Relocation and/or per diem benefits are not offered. Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
