General Summary
The Director of Talent Acquisition - Clinical & Shared Services is responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that aligns with organizational goals and supports clinical care and shared services. This role provides strategic and operational leadership over recruitment functions, employer branding initiatives, and candidate experience efforts with alignment to the broader talent acquisition strategy.
The Director leads a high performing team of recruiters, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability. By partnering closely with senior leadership, the Director builds and sustains a strong talent pipeline across clinical and shares services. The Director also works collaboratively with leaders within talent acquisition and the human resources centers of excellence.
This role oversees full-cycle recruitment for nursing, nursing support, behavioral health, allied health, and shared services.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with organizational objectives and workforce needs.Forecast hiring needs and create proactive workforce plans in partnership with HR and business leaders.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of recruiters and recruitment support staff.Establish clear goals, KPIs, and accountability for recruitment team performance.Oversee full-cycle recruitment for all levels of the organization, ensuring a consistent and exceptional candidate experience.Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulatory standards, and internal policies.Enhance the organization's employer brand through marketing, partnerships, and targeted outreach.Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in all recruitment effortsOptimize recruitment technologies and utilization of the applicant tracking systems (ATS).Leverage data and analytics to assess performance, drive continuous improvement, and guide decision-making.Partner closely with hiring managers, HR partners, and executive leadership to understand talent needs and deliver effective recruitment solutions.Provide strategic insights and recommendations to continuously improve talent acquisition strategies and outcomes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.Minimum of seven years of progressive experience in talent acquisition required.At least three years of leadership experience overseeing recruitment or HR teams required.Experience managing high-volume recruitment in a complex, multi-site organization required; healthcare industry experience preferred.Demonstrated ability to exercise critical thinking, sound judgment, and independent decision-making.Strong data fluency, with the ability to leverage analytics to drive decisions and influence business strategies.Proven skill in change management, with experience leading teams through organizational change and process transformation.You’re unique and you belong here.
