Aspirus Health in WAUSAU, WI is seeking a DIRECTOR- SYSTEM TOTAL REWARDS to join our HUMAN RESOURCES team!

The Director – System Total Rewards is responsible for overseeing the compensation and benefit programs of Aspirus. This includes developing and implementing strategies to attract and retain top talent and effectively managing the budgets for these programs. This individual works closely with senior leadership and other HR team members to ensure our total rewards packages are competitive and aligned with our philosophy and business goals and are compliant with all applicable state and federal regulations. This position reports to the Vice President – System Total Rewards.

Experience/Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field. Master’s degree preferred.5-7 years of HR leadership/management experience required.10+ years of progressive HR experience required.Experience with HRIS systems and data analytics.Experience in project management, including the implementation of programs across a wide employee base and multiple locations.Critical thinking, analytical and problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills, detail oriented, and can assess on a short-, mid, and long-term basis.Solid knowledge of employment laws, IRS, ERISA, ADA, and other laws and regulations at the state and federal level that govern HR practice. Ability to guide and inform total rewards practices, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.Strong skills in the competencies of organizational savvy, coaching and developing others, continuous improvement, communicating, and leading change.Demonstrated ability to promote teamwork and lead people to achieve organizational goals, ability to adapt readily to a changing healthcare environment.Ability to respond professionally in situations with difficult employee/vendor/customer issues or inquiries.
