Job Description

Role Summary:

Visa is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Director to lead our System Integrator (SI) engagement strategy for Embedded Payments. This role will be responsible for identifying, contracting, and managing SI partners to accelerate the integration of Visa’s virtual payment capabilities into ERP systems, Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workflows, vertical SaaS solutions, and expense management platforms. The Director will play a pivotal role in scaling our Embedded Payments program, enabling seamless invoice payments directly from accounting and procurement software using Visa virtual cards as the payment method of choice.

Key Responsibilities:

SI Strategy & Execution

Lead the development and execution of the SI Build track as outlined in the FY26 Embedded Payments plan.Identify and prioritize SIs with deep expertise in ERP (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, SAP), P2P platforms (e.g., Coupa, Ariba), vertical SaaS (e.g., construction, healthcare), and expense platforms (e.g., Concur, Expensify).Manage RFI/RFP processes, vendor onboarding, and contracting (SOWs, licensing, compliance).Oversee co-development efforts between Visa and SIs, ensuring timely delivery of integrations.

Integration Oversight

Collaborate with product and technology teams to define integration workflows and technical requirements across ERP, P2P, and expense ecosystems.Ensure SIs build to Visa’s APIs or through Workato (Visa’s iPaaS partner), maintaining quality and compliance standards.Coordinate with internal scrum teams and solution architects to validate and test SI-built integrations.Ensure all integrations are optimized to support Visa virtual cards as the default payment method.

Partner Enablement & GTM

Support go-to-market efforts by aligning SI-built integrations with Visa’s commercial, marketing, and issuer engagement teams.Support co-marketing and joint sales enablement plans with SIs and ERP/P2P/Expense vendors partners.Provide solution overviews and technical support to Visa’s sales and client services teams.

SI Management & Reporting

Track progress against integration milestones, partner onboarding, and revenue activation targets.Manage budgets for SI development funds and licensing costs.Report on KPIs including number of integrations, partner satisfaction, and contribution to 2030 revenue goal.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD10+ years of experience in product partnerships, systems integration, or enterprise software delivery.Deep understanding of ERP/accounting platforms, P2P systems, vertical SaaS, and expense management tools.Proven experience managing third-party vendors, especially global SIs (e.g., Accenture, EY, Wipro).Strong technical acumen in APIs, middleware (iPaaS), and embedded finance.Excellent cross-functional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Experience in payments, fintech, or B2B SaaS is highly desirable.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 178,400.00 to 258,750.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
