Job Overview:

The Director – Global Subcontracts Management is the global discipline lead for subcontracts management within McDermott. The position sits with a solid reporting line into the Global Supply Chain Management function, and with matrix/functional oversight of subcontracts management in all Business Lines. 

This is a senior-level leadership position, primarily responsible for global alignment, improvement, and oversight of subcontract management processes within McDermott’s matrix organization. The role also involves building and maintaining strategic relationships with global subcontractors, i.e. subcontractors that McDermott has an engagement with across multiple business lines and/or geographies.

This role provides subject matter expertise, strategic support and training to subcontracts management personnel within business lines and project teams. It plays a key role in advancing subcontractor engagement practices, managing 3rd party estimating tools (such as the Blue Book program), and supporting internal and external audit readiness.
