\n\nRole Purpose
\nGuarantee that local systems are organized to meet the requirements of the Operational Policies and Procedures. Must exercise judgment and initiative to ensure that the country's daily operational functions are carried out professionally. Must be responsible for the successful implementation of the Company's strategies, considering local culture and idiosyncrasies.
\n\nMain Accountabilities
\n\n· Analyze and improve quality, cost, and productivity indicators of Operations Department by implementing optimization strategies that ensure working efficiency.
\n· Adapt and execute programs and guidelines provided by the Regional Office, ensuring their proper implementation at the local level within the Operations Department.
\n· Supervise the performance of managers, supervisors, and operational teams, delivering constructive feedback and encouraging development opportunities.
\n· Represent the organization in various working meetings with different government entities (SUNAT, Customs, Association of Customs Agents, Ministries, ADEX, among others, as required) to promote improvement programs and/or implement existing or new policies.
\n· Monitoring and controlling supply expenses to prevent budget overruns.
\n· Ensures the vehicle fleet is mechanically and administratively maintained.
\n· Maintains documented and updated operational processes, ensuring compliance with current quality standards.
\n· Communicates strategies and plans, assigns responsible and take corrective actions.
\n· Promote a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with all local regulations and international occupational health and safety standards.
\n· Be responsible for the management and implementation of initiatives for EOS/GPTW and other job satisfaction indicators implemented by the company.
\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRequirements
\n\n· More than 5 years of experience in managing and leading group (Professional and non-professional).
\n· Knowledge in distribution logistics, customs rules, and Cost management.
\n· Professional in Engineering and/or careers related with the business management; Master Degree is preferred.
\n· Fully bilingual (English - Spanish).
\n· Demonstrated ability to motivate both leaders and staff to effectively translate philosophy and corporate goals.
\n· Effective communications and relationship skills,
\n· Excellent ability to communicate orally and in writing and in a business setting
\n· Organizational and high-level planning skills.
\n· Knowledge and experience in the use of computerized systems.
