Director Service Solutions Army and Missile Defense Solutions
**Job Description** Responsible for leadership of the Army & Missile Defense Solutions (AMDS) IT and mission services-based group of projects (PAX-IT, GEOINT). Supports growth of portfolio (new business MAPS, ALTESS, Cyber Trident, ITEAMS) aligned to IDS campaigns of Mission IT Digital Acceleration (Growth), Decision Dominance (Growth), and Simulation Advantage (Growth) targeting our Army, Missile Defense Agency, and Combatant Command customers. Ensures achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives. Supports implementation of I&S Automation, AI, and Autonomy (A3) strategy within AMDS IT and Mission services efforts. Directly or indirectly manages subordinate leads and/or teams of experienced specialists from across the company and supporting partners while exercising significant latitude and independence. Develops information which extends knowledge across IDS campaign efforts (especially Mission IT / Digital Acceleration, Program Management aspects). May serve as the bid Program Manager for large opportunities. Direct people-management responsibility is required. May serve as a program/task order Independent Chairperson for all Phase Reviews after Phase 1B, and for all Design Reviews. Chairpersons are selected to conduct specific reviews and should also serve as resources available to the Project throughout the lifecycle, not solely at discrete points. Develops mid and long-range objectives and strategic plans, supports identifying internal and external strategic issues that could affect growth and profitability. Scans environment for business opportunities, maintains awareness of market, and may perform financial/business analysis of opportunities. Identifies technical and business resources needed. Reviews status of projects, manages schedules and prepares status reports. Provides guidance to project team(s). Assesses issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Activities include analyzing customer trends, designing new services/processes, and modifying and improving existing services/ processes. Develops budgets, schedules, and performance standards; monitors project execution to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained. Acts independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of new and operational programs. Generates White Papers, proposals, and demonstrations to shape customer requirements and generate interest (sales/orders) of AMDS solutions. Leads/support proposals/post-proposal activities including basis of estimates (BOEs), pricing, past performance, management, staffing, and hiring efforts. Supports or may serve as the AMDS ISO 9001:2015/2026 lead/Quality Assurance Representative (QAR). Interacts frequently with internal and external management and senior-level customer representatives concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements and/or contractual clarifications. Leads briefings and meetings for internal and external representatives. Interprets company-wide policies and procedures. Work is reviewed in terms of meeting AMDS and IDS objectives and timelines. Demonstrates strong leadership in ethics, safety and security. Decisions have an extended impact on work processes and outcomes and erroneous decisions result in critical delays and modifications to projects or operations; cause substantial expenditure of additional time, human resources and funds; and jeopardize future business activity. \#LI-HM1 **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Bachelor's Degree + Minimum of twelve (12) years experience + Project Management Professional (PMP) certification + 4 years supervisory/management experience leading projects + Experience developing compelling proposals to meet operational requirements and government evaluation methodologies **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Experience working with a military service (Army, Air Force, or Navy) or DoD + Experience working in or supporting Combatant Commands IT systems + Experience working OCONUS and/or deployed locations + Program Management Professional + ITIL V4 Foundations certification **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $153377 - $260743 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
