This is a Salaried position. Overview POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Rehabilitation Services plans and directs the development and operation of rehabilitation programs and strategies. Responsible for the performance of these services and departments through the management of personnel, identification of and response to market conditions, and by ensuring compliance with accrediting and regulatory requirements. Effectively manages the capital, financial and human resources of the departments, and develops and implements appropriate plans, goals, budgets, and policies to ensure alignment with the Ministry strategy. Plans and directs the delivery of quality patient care and related services. Develops and implements strategic vision and goals. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelors Licenses/Certifications: OT, PT, SLP or related license in state working or TR Certification Experience: 3 years of related work experience in a rehabilitation setting 2 years of supervisory or similar experience Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Master's degree Other skills/knowledge: Analytical abilities necessary in order to evaluate patient care delivery systems and results; respond to problems by identifying and implementing appropriate corrective action; develop and administer sound policies, procedures, and budgets; and organize and oversee work of subordinates Knowledge of management theory and practice in order to oversee planning and implementation of patient care and related services in assigned units, and to prepare related reports, analyses, policies and budgets Proven supervisory and leadership skills in organization, team building, training, and problem solving Must be results oriented, respond to questions with definitive answers, and be able to meet deadlines Self-starting, effective leader with demonstrated personal relationship skills and the ability to act upon independent thought processes OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
